What we’re doing

Improving timely and equitable access to health services:

  • Supporting Health New Zealand’s capacity to provide elective surgery and reduce waiting times
  • Increasing access to specialist rehabilitation services for people living in the Waikato region
  • Improving access to post-natal care for mothers and babies across the Auckland region

Using patient experience surveys and clinical indicators to continuously improve the service we provide.

Monitoring and improving the quality of our health services through external audits, clinical governance and the Evolution quality improvement awards.

Implementing Te Korowai Oranga, Evolution’s cultural engagement strategy.

Support staff to build cultural competency through a comprehensive education package.

Awarding undergraduate scholarships to support nursing and perioperative practice students, including two scholarships per year for students of Māori or Pacific descent.
