The Evolution Healthcare Undergraduate Scholarship Programme can cover tuition fees and other educational expenses for students who are in their second year of study. These scholarships are designed to cover the expenses for their third and final year of study and provide successful candidates with career development opportunities within Evolution Healthcare.
Three Registered Nurse scholarships that can cover course costs and related expenses up to $11,000 each.
If awarded this will be paid in two equal portions of up to $5,500 each.

One Perioperative Practitioner scholarship that can cover course costs and related expenses up to $11,000.

All offers of the Scholarship will be conditional upon the recipient being fully enrolled in a full-year programme (full-time will be at the level of points considered by Studylink as full-time) within the stipulated criteria and tenure of the scholarship. No payment of the Scholarship will be made until this condition is met.
Payment 2 is only paid upon the recipient’s successful application into the relevant graduate recruitment programme with a company in the Evolution Healthcare group, and after one month of commencing employment.
Upon commencing employment, payment 2 will be bonded on the condition that the recipient remain in employment for at least one year.

Receiving an Undergraduate Scholarship and application into our graduate recruitment programme does not guarantee employment with Evolution Healthcare group. Employment is subject to availability of the relevant roles, and start date may be brought forward or deferred according to the operational requirements of the business unit.
The Scholarship winners will be announced by 30th September 2026.
Should the recipient withdraw from Nursing Council of NZ Approved School of Nursing or Auckland University of Technology (AUT) during the tenure of this scholarship or fail to achieve a satisfactory progress, partial repayment of the Scholarship will normally be expected. Recipients must advise us if they intend to withdraw.
Recipients are expected to act as ambassadors for Evolution Healthcare and participate in appropriate events or marketing if requested.
At the discretion of the Deciding Authority committee, the application of the terms and conditions of the Scholarship may be modified in special circumstances.
Selection criteria
Applicants must be intending to enrol or be enrolled in an accredited registered nurse qualification in New Zealand in the year following this application, or the Bachelor of Health Science in Perioperative Practice (Level 7) from Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and commitment to becoming a Registered Nurse or Perioperative Practitioner.
We reserve the right to offer / or not offer scholarships at our own discretion.
