We’re committed to ensuring that talented and driven students have the resources they need to succeed in their studies and future careers. The Evolution Healthcare Undergraduate Scholarship Programme covers tuition fees and other educational expenses for students who are now in their second year. These scholarships are designed to cover the expenses for their third and final year of study.
Four Registered Nurse Scholarships valued at course costs and related expenses up to $11,000 each.
If awarded this will be paid in two equal portions of up to $5,500 each.
AND
One Perioperative Technician Scholarship valued at course costs and related expenses up to $11,000.
If awarded this will be paid in two equal portions of up to $5,500 each.
Two of the scholarships are specifically for students of Māori or Pacific Island descent.

Your completed application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date, and only complete applications will be accepted. Submissions usually open six weeks before the deadline. To be successful you’ll also need to include a personal statement expressing your commitment to becoming a Registered Nurse or Perioperative Technician, along with two references from your tutor or supervisor.

All offers of the Scholarship will be conditional upon the recipient being fully enrolled in a full-year programme (full-time will be at the level of points considered by Studylink as full-time) within the stipulated criteria and tenure of the scholarship. No payment of the Scholarship will be made until this condition is met.
The Scholarship winners will be announced by 30 November 2024.
Should the recipient withdraw from Nursing Council of NZ Approved School of Nursing or Auckland University of Technology (AUT) during the tenure of this scholarship or fail to achieve a satisfactory progress, partial repayment of the Scholarship will normally be expected. Recipients must advise us if they intend to withdraw.
Recipients are expected to act as Ambassadors for Evolution Healthcare and participate in appropriate events or marketing if requested.
At the discretion of the Deciding Authority committee, the application of the terms and conditions of the Scholarship may be modified in special circumstances.
Selection criteria
Applicants must be intending to enrol or be enrolled in the Bachelor of nursing from a Nursing Council of NZ Approved School of Nursing in New Zealand in the year following this application, or the Bachelor of Health Science in Perioperative Practice (Level 7) from Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and commitment to becoming a registered Nurse or Perioperative technician.
