Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr Allan Hsu completed his medical training in Australia. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Melbourne. Dr Hsu has demonstrated a passion for understanding and treating disease and disability associated with aging, including Parkinson’s disease and post-stroke optimisation. He is particularly interested in perioperative management and rehabilitation of older patients.
Dr Hsu completed his fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with a sub-specialisation in Geriatric Medicine. He is a geriatrician staff specialist at Liverpool Hospital and general medicine VMO at Campbelltown Hospital. Dr Hsu passes on his passion as Conjoint Associate Lecturer at UNSW.
Dr Hsu is a member of The Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine (ANZSGM) and American Geriatric Society (AGS).
Dr Hsu speaks fluent English, Taiwanese and Mandarin.
