Dr Hank Chen is a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist specialising in gastrointestinal and liver disorders. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2009. He undertook his physician training, subspecialising in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at various tertiary hospitals across Sydney.
Dr Chen’s special interests include bowel cancer screening, peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease. He is fully accredited in gastroscopy and colonoscopy by Gastroenterological Society of Australia. He is also qualified to perform small bowel enteroscopy. Dr Chen is fluent in Mandarin.
