Dr Mariela Hendriks is a Consultant Physician in Rehabilitation Medicine. Her role includes the diagnosis and assessment of a person’s function associated with injury, illness or chronic conditions and working to maximise their independence and quality of life. Her specialist knowledge and expertise extends to the assessment, management and medical supervision of patients.
A passionate educator in Sydney, Dr Hendriks is heavily involved in passing on her extensive knowledge using registrar rehabilitation programs and the University of Sydney as platforms. She has also been involved in exam development and administration for the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM).
