Otago graduate 1984. Advanced training in Cardiology in Dunedin and London. Appointed Cardiologist Wellington Hospital 1995. Currently Clinical leader, Cardiology, Wellington Hospital Consultant Cardiologist at Wellington and Wakefield Hospitals, Clinical Senior Lecturer at Wellington School of Medicine. Cardiology interests include interventional cardiology and heart failure.
Began Interventional cardiology training 1991. Moved back to Wellington to present post as Interventional cardiologist in 1995. Assumed Clinical Leader role in 2000. Senior Clinical Lecturer Otago University since 1996. Served as RACP secretary for advanced training 1996-2003. Clinical Director Central Region Cardiac Network from 2009.
