Richard sees patients with endocrine conditions including thyroid, parathyroid/calcium, pituitary, and adrenal disorders, neuroendocrine tumours, inherited endocrine disorders, reproductive issues including polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause issues, and testosterone deficiency, disorders of bone including osteoporosis, and all forms of diabetes.
In addition, he sees individuals who wish to commence gender affirming hormonal therapy after a readiness assessment. His special clinical and research interests include the management of patients with endocrine tumours including pituitary and gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumours, and inheritable endocrine disorders such as multiple endocrine neoplasia.
