Dr Samuel Kim is Australian trained specialist Maxillofacial surgeon with both medical and dental degrees from New South Wales and Queensland. He also has a Masters in Medicine degree in medical research.
After obtaining his specialist qualification, Dr Kim has spent further 12 months in TMJ surgery fellowship at the St. Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. He is currently the only medically and dentally trained maxillofacial surgeon in NSW with 12 month fellowship in TMJ surgery.
Dr Kim specialises in all aspects of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and is one of the few Maxillofacial surgeons in Australia to regularly perform TMJ surgeries, from arthroscopes to joint replacements. He has special interest and expertise in minimally invasive total TMJ replacement surgery and single stage surgeries.
