Dr Yu-Tang Shen is a psychiatrist with an interest in Cognitive disorders and psychological therapy and general psychiatry.
He completed his Medical degree at The University of Melbourne, and trained in psychiatry at the Prince of Wales Hospital, St George Hospital, and St Vincent’s Hospital. He has been involved in medical teaching to medical students and training psychiatrists.
He completed his fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and has subspecialised training in Old Age Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, and has been trained in various modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, IPT, DBT.
He is a member of the Faculty of Old Age, Faculty of Psychotherapy and Neurostimulation.
He has held positions as a psychogeriatrician at St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst and Liverpool Hospital, and also consults in private practice.
