Mr Langdana is a Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Wellington School of Medicine and a Consultant at Wellington Public and Wakefield Hospital. After graduating with an MBBS from India (1988) he spent six years in Ireland where he obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. He completed the remainder of his training in New Zealand where he gained his Fellowship of the RANZCOG in 2002.
Specialising in Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic surgery, including Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Laparoscopic Myomectomy, Endometriosis, Colposcopy and general gynaecology. Currently Training Supervisor for Registrars in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Wellington Hospital. Member of Health Quality & Safety Commission Advisory Group on Surgical Checklist.
