I am a New Zealand trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. I grew up in Wellington and studied Medicine at Otago University. I graduated from Otago Medical School in 1999. I completed my Specialist Training in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2010. I undertook fellowships in Shoulder, Elbow and Hand Surgery in Waikato and Perth, Western Australia, before returning to New Zealand to take up a Consultant position at Hawke’s Bay DHB in 2012. I am the current Head of Department for Orthopaedic Surgery at the DHB and an orthopaedic surgeon operating at Royston Hospital.
