Learning outcomes:

  • Enable recognition of the clinical signs and symptoms of cervical myelopathy, including the various neurological, musculoskeletal, and radiological features, to accurately diagnose in patients presenting with neck pain, arm weakness, or gait disturbance.
  • Ensure an understanding of the strategies for managing cervical myelopathy, including conservative treatments and when to refer patients for surgical evaluation.
