Sunday 8th September was World Physiotherapy Day. The day is observed to generate awareness about the crucial contribution physiotherapists make to society, enabling people to be mobile, well, fit and independent. Across Evolution Healthcare’s Health and Wellbeing teams of ABI Rehabilitation New Zealand, Proactive, Evolution Care Pathways and Evolve, we have a dedicated team of many physiotherapists. Our physiotherapists range from new graduates to senior and consultant clinicians who have specialised in MSK, occupational physiotherapy, pelvic health, vestibular rehabilitation, wheelchair and seating, concussion, neuro rehabilitation and or paediatrics. The physiotherapists are working with kiritaki in hospitals, in the gym or hydro pool, in homes, workplaces, schools, kindy/daycare, sports fields and in kiritaki communities. A big thank you as we celebrate all our physiotherapists; their expertise, skill, advice, interventions and value they have within our services and their interdisciplinary team. This National Doctors’ Day, we’re tipping our hats to the incredible doctors who dedicate their lives to healing and caring for others. Evolution Healthcare is honoured to work alongside these exceptional professionals who entrust their patients’ well-being to our facilities and services.
