Each year, Evolution’s health services select their top quality improvement initiatives to be judged for the best in category and supreme winner. Many of these initiatives go on to be entered into regional and national health quality awards events.
The Evolution Healthcare Annual Quality awards recognises and rewards the achievements and innovations undertaken by our staff across all our Hospital and Wellbeing services.
In 2024, a total of sixteen entries were received and six were selected for our Quality Award finals.
Overall Winner
The overall Award went to Grace Hospital, for their remarkable work enhancing the care of Tamariki with Takiwatanga (Autism Spectrum Disorders/ASD).
Runners Up
In 2023, a total of fifteen entries were received and seven were selected for our Quality Award finals.

The overall Award went to Proactive for the development and implementation of a mobile physiotherapy and wellness service in the South Island.
