We’re proud to share that Endoscopy Auckland is the first private hospital in New Zealand to achieve a 5 Star Green Star Design rating under the NZGBC Green Star Design & As Built v1.0 tool, representing New Zealand excellence.

This purpose-built, 4-theatre, 16-bed endoscopy facility sets a new benchmark for sustainable healthcare, designed with patients, staff, community and the planet in mind.

Delivered by Endoscopy Auckland Limited (a joint venture between Evolution Healthcare and Allevia Health), in partnership with Vital Healthcare, the project is now on track to achieve its As Built rating in 2026.

Some of the sustainability highlights include:
• 50% increase in fresh air provision
• 30% Portland cement replacement
• >90% construction waste diverted from landfill
• Low VOC materials and healthy mattresses
• Efficient sanitary fixtures
• Active transport facilities for visitors
